And healing is a different game style where you have to think on your feet and depending on your class, be proactive or reactive. Disc is a poor healer because it does less healing than other specs. A 70% healer/30% dps is not that useful for Mythics. Mistweaver is a solid healer, but having to be in the melee pile to be the most effective healer is not that useful for Mythics as well.

If by outperform you mean put out more hps, then it sounds like you may be thinking about healing in the wrong way. Hps is a useful metric, but not the only thing to consider. For example, Link is one of the best CDs in the game even though it doesn’t have as much raw healing output as something like tranquility.
